AGATE SLICE INSPIRED ALCOHOL INK

August 20th • 6:00pm -8:00pm

Explore alcohol ink and its application on Yupo paper to create a one-of-a-kind Agate Slice painting. We'll utilize inks to drip, drop, and flow on the paper to create bold and vivid color segments diluted with alcohol and blending solution. We will plan our slice's color palette, including finishing details with posca pens. Students will experiment with ink application but are encouraged to understand alcohol ink and its application for this class.

This class is encouraged for students who have worked with alcohol ink before! Students should be prepared to do some compositional drawing in this class and will need a basic understanding of alcohol ink application!

Students are encouraged to bring an Agate photo that inspires them but will be provided a reference from which to work!
