Explore Alcohol Ink and its application in painting to create one of a kind paintings on ceramic tile. We’ll utilize inks to mimic the effect of watercolor in bold and vivid colors, and create lush color backgrounds. Students will be experimenting with ink application and will leave with a basic understanding of how to further pursue the medium. Students will be learning how to finish and seal their coasters with Resin.
NOTE: Coasters must be left to cure 48 HRS at MJ and will be notified for pick up from the instructor when dry. Resin is a messy medium, and students should be prepared with a smock or old clothes.
