Summer Fruits in WATERCOLOR

Take a bite of the summer's favorite fruits, watermelon, strawberry, and kiwi. 

Express and study these iconic summer fruits in Watercolor. This beginner-friendly class breaks down the foundational techniques of wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry watercolor painting to achieve different layers and levels of detail when representing something from life. We will focus on each fruit's specific shape, whole verse sliced, and how additional tools like microns and liner pens can express fine detail and the textures of the fruit. 

Students will work through warm-up exercises and will create studies of their chosen fruit.

EXPERIENCE: This class is A beginner level but is also an excellent option for intermediate students to build off their previous knowledge and want to express a more realistic approach to wet-on-dry painting
