Winter Birch Forest in WATERCOLOR

As we celebrate the winter season, what better way to embrace its beauty than by studying the iconic Birch tree?

Paint a beautiful Birch Tree scene highlighting "white" in winter landscape painting.

We will compose an 8 "x 10" landscape watercolor painting. We will focus on watercolor tools like masking fluid, compositional planning, and blocking to create a balanced and impactful sketch, as well as details between layers to build dimension and texture.

Using Watercolor, we will explore layering to create depth in our composition and the different brush strokes, tools, and aids used to create the iconic Birch tree bark.

Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during the class!
