Original hand-painted Watercolor by Laura Cott

This composition focuses on the relationship between sky and land, the importance of color combinations, and natural color mixing in watercolor. A pastel pink sky is paired against light blue, highlighting an atmospheric vibration of color as it mimics the mist hovering above the ground as the land wakes in the morning. As we do not know exactly where this scene would be in the world, the atmosphere is implied, but we recognize and accept it as a natural space.

• The painting is protected with protective glass and backed with wall mounts for easy hanging.
