Celebrate one of the summer's favorite spots, the beach!

This beginner-friendly watercolor class focuses on water waves and creates a beautiful beach scene of blue and white waves crashing on the sand.

During the class, we will delve into using specific tools like white wax crayons and masking fluids, which are essential for protecting the white of our paper. We'll also explore the technique of wet-on-wet painting, a key method for creating our vibrant blue water. Additionally, we'll touch on the art of layering in Watercolor, a technique that adds depth and shadow to our paintings.

Students will work with warm-up exercises for everyday watercolor practice and work toward a completed piece!

Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during the class!
