Easter Bouquet in Watercolor: Tulips, Roses & Ranunculus Floral Study

BUILD A CUSTOM EASTER BOUQUET AND LEARN HOW TO PAINT A LOOSE FLORAL COMPOSITION OF ROSES, TULIPS, AND RANUNCULUS.
Our class will focus on matering the shape and texture of these three florals, both blooming anf as buds, in a loose compositional study. We will work with gestural brush movements and repetitive tricks to matser loose petal shapes.
During class, we will discuss building a floral-focused composition, layering, working from background to a detailed foreground, and textures and marks you can make with simple supplies!
Students will work with warm-up exercises, breaking down how to paint each flower and what makes a compelling painting, and work toward a completed 8x10 piece! We will work with a cool color palette of lavenders, pinks, muted creams, and greens.
Students will pick and design their easter bouquets to paint during class provided by WildRoot Floral. You will have a choice of (3) Roses, (2) Ranunculus, (2) Tulips, and (2) filler greens.
Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during the class!
This class is a great building block for those students who have taken beginning watercolor classes and are interested in learning specific florals.
Though this is a beginner-friendly class, it is excellent for those who consider themselves at the intermediate level, have a basic understanding of brush control, and would like to push toward a more detailed, planned, planned, and advanced composition!
