Join me as we explore one illustrative watercolor best fall subject, Leaves!

Inspired by nature, we will use a fall color scheme and work from life to create different shaped leaves as our inspiration in this watercolor class! We will break down the foundational techniques to making this seasonal painting, walk through various leaf shapes, talk composition and map out our leaf shapes, and practice different watercolor skills to create a cohesive and balanced artwork.

Students are encouraged to bring their own leaves as inspiration. I recommend finding different shapes, sizes, and colors if possible.

Students will plan and design, work with warm-up exercises perfect for their everyday watercolor practice, and work toward a completed 8x10 study!

Though this is a beginner class, this is a great class for students in the intermediate level
