MINI FAUX SCULPTURAL CACTI

Create the look, texture, and feel of a realistic, life-like miniature cactus that will last forever in this sculptural inspired class. Students will be drawing inspiration from life to construct their own faux potted, hand-painted cacti. In this class, students will be working with common household materials like rigid insulation foam and latex paint and they will achieve details with hundreds of toothpicks, white acrylic caulking, and brush bristles.
Please note: Students will be working on mini 4"-6" finished cacti and need to bring their own pot or vessel to put their faux plant in. A small pot between 4’’-6” is recommended. Outside work may be needed to finish little details of the cacti and students will be provided with materials to take home with them if needed.
