LAYERED STEMS IN WATERCOLOR

Interested in the building blocks of Watercolor painting and looking to learn the basics in a fun and exciting way? In this beginner-friendly class, we break down the foundational technique of layering in watercolor through a tropical favorite, palm leaves and stems! We will be focusing on a monochromatic color palette (blue), using water to create beautiful tonal ranges and exploring color transparency to build layers of leafy stems creating repeating patterns that jump off the page.
Students will work with warm-up exercises to use in their everyday watercolor practice and work toward a completed piece!
Students will receive a workbook to follow along with the instructor during the class!
