ALCOHOL INK 101: Creating Florals

Explore alcohol ink and its application in this introductory class!

We will explore the medium without the pressure of a finished painting! In this class, we will focus on practice and play! We will discuss supplies, tools, and techniques for creating floral shapes, textures, and petals in your painting practice!

Students will complete guided exercises with ink application and will leave with a basic understanding of how to pursue the medium further for future projects.

Students will drip, drop, and spread bold and vivid colored ink on the paper's surface in an organic and fluid painting style, focusing on creating organic shapes inspired by flowers.
