Capture the essence of Fall's favorite theme, Pumpkins and Gourds, in Watercolor!
Through foundational painting practices and techniques, we will create a fun composition and cohesive and balanced artwork. We will focus on a modern color palette and highlight the various shapes, sizes, and textures of squash, gourds, and mini pumpkins. Students will play with wet-on-wet blending, color mixing, and other watercolor elements throughout the class.
Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during the class!
This class is a great building block for students who have taken beginning watercolor classes that focus on blending and layering.
Level:
Though this is a beginner-friendly class, it is excellent for those at the intermediate level.
Age:
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place at Hyatt’s
I will be in Hyatt’s classroom for a teacher meet-and-greet, where I will help students with supply questions and shop at the massive Hyatt’s store.

CLass POLICY:
Classes require a minimum attendance to run and are occasionally canceled due to low registration. In the event of a class cancellation, registrants will be notified before the class date, and a full refund will be issued.
If you need to cancel a class, you must cancel at least two days (48 Hours) before the class date to receive a refund or transfer credit. No refunds or transfers will be made on the day of the class or after the class has started or no show attendance for any reason. However, if you’d like to offer your seat in that class to a friend or family member, we’d be happy to let them take your seat. We ask that you please notify me ahead of time or email laura@lacottfineart.com as soon as possible.
